Hi,
I’m Tasniem, the founder of Snugbook. Firstly I would like to say thank you for taking the time to read this. A little about myself, I am Libyan and a mother of 3 wonderful children. My inspiration in the work I do comes from books, art, stories, Africa and humanity. My love and passion for books is only exceeded by my passion to give back. 4 years ago I started working on Snugbook. After an incident with my books and not finding what I need, I used my years of experience in business and development to create something book lovers will love and appreciate but that also gives back to causes that make a difference in people's lives.
Now after years of research and endless experimenting, Snugbook has finally come to life.
Snugbook is made out of love and appreciation for books and the belief that they hold not only sentimental value but mark a period in our lives. Books have been friends, mentors and teachers throughout my life. They have been a way for me to escape into different worlds, through reading fiction and tap into the minds of great people and learn from their life experiences and the knowledge they acquired.
Books are an essential part of my life, whether it’s how I like to end my day, find inspiration or some of our family traditions like weekly book dates with my little ones. One of our favourite trips are to the bookshops and some of our favourite scents is the scent of a new book. As you can probably tell by now I really am in love with books.
Books and writers have given us so much inspiration and joy and that’s why I created Snugbook - Something to give your books some TLC.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your support
Love,
Tasniem G.
